Lone Rose Star progress

Last night I finished the hand quilting on center star on my Lone Rose Star quilt.  I was unable to sleep thinking about all the crazy stuff going on right now.  I find that when I lie down to sleep, that is when I feel the greatest stress about things.  So I just got up and finished quilting the last star point.  Following are some pictures of the quilt todate.

Oh, I'm so glad for you to put the last quilting stitches in this beautiful quilt! But, I'm sorry for the circumstances for doing it. I understand about thoughts swirling at bedtime; many people are doing that these days. Sometimes it helps to thoughtfully pray through the anxious thoughts, and other times I find myself picking up my iPhone, which I know isn't a healthy thing to do. I have yet to get back up though, sometimes laying awake until 2 am or so. Then, I drag myself through the following day, and that night inevitably succumb to sleep at the proper time. Not the best pattern, I know, but with nowhere to go during the day, it works. Hope you get binding on this quilt in a timely manner so as to enjoy the wonderful feeling of a finish! Stay safe!
