The good news is....

Fred got agood report from the doctor today and looks like his finger is going to be saved. Thank you for your prayers.

The bad news is...I fell when leaving work and fractured my elbow. I made it to pickup hubby to take him to the doc. Fred was given the ok to drive, so when we finished his appointment, he drove me to urgent care. I now have my left arm in a splint and sling - can't drive..can't sew :(.

My daughter says she is going to wrap us in bubblewrap before we leave the house again.

Oh, good grief! I'm amazed you managed to drive at all! I think your daughter's on to a good idea! Hope you both heal up real fast!

OMG! Do you want me to come over and pick up the mystery project and finish them? I will be glad to! It might help me make sure that my part fits.

Oh no! You two are a pair right now, aren't you? I can't believe either of you were able to drive.

Congrats on the news on the finger. I'm sure everyone is very much relieved!

Oh No! You will have to stay close, use each of your good arm/hands to help each other do the necessities. This is quite a pickle!!

I think the bubble wrap is a good idea, or a glass cages. I am so sorry to read about your calamities. Take good care, I wish speedy healing all around!

You poor things! Oh my, you've had a double dose of troubles. I do hope that no more accidents come your way and only good things and healing for both of you.

Sometimes it doesn't rain it pours, but thank goodness the finger is doing well, and hopefully you'll be as good as new soon. Sounds like you didn't let a "little" thing like a broken elbow slow you down. Sounds like your daughter may be on to something.

I've had a broken elbow too. It hurt like h*** when I did it. But all healed now. No cast just a sling really and then they wanted me to use it after 2 weeks so I wouldn't lose and mobility or strength. Keep your chin up. And good luck to hubby, too.

OMG! Both of you are bruised and battered. How unfortunate! But it is good news for your husband about his finger. Hope there will be good news about your elbow soon, as well. Take care.
