Wow. That's quite a project! Lots of hours went into it, and that's very apparent. Very pretty! I'd begin by quilting around each block, to stabilize it. That includes the oval and round shapes. Then, I'd go back and fill in with straight line quilting, either on a diagonal, or a diagonal cross-hatch. A linear design will contrast nicely with all the curves in the top. Of course, that means lots of stops and starts with thread-burying, but if you're gonna spend so much time piecing a top, an equal amount of time should be spent on quilting. Enjoy this step too!
