I thought I would just share my progress on the three projects I am working on now. There is a fourth that takes up a lot of my time, but can't share that one just yet.
First up is my modified OneBlockWonder quilt, which I have decided to call China Blue. I have reached the half way point in the quilt top and am still enjoying making these blocks. Still have not decided about the applique in the middle, whether to stick with all blue and white, or to spice it up with a splash of color.
Next is a wool applique table runner that I started a few weeks ago at the Quilters of SC fall retreat. This was a workshop conducted by Cathi Gainey and is her own design. I think this project is demanding some embellishment with beads to add sparkle, after all it is a Christmas Table Runner.
The applique is almost done and then I get to play with beads and maybe some Twilling.
Check out Cathi's beautiful wools and patterns at Shakerwood Woolens.
That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by!
