First I will announce the winner of the Sewline Needle Threader.
That would be Thimbleanna. I just love Anna's blog and hope you will check it out.
My review of the threader is that it works like a charm and I like it, except.... it is very sensitive and you can't force it into the needle cause it will break. Speaking from experience here - yes I broke mine. But you can purchase replacement cartridges so I have a couple on order. I used too big an embroidery needle - should have known as it was hard to get the needle into the slot. Live and learn.
Yesterday was Stitchin Friends club meeting and we had so much fun. Sylvia Strange was our guest teacher and she is an excellent and very patient teacher.
Here is my quilt. Its quilted an ready to bind and then will be hanging on the wall in my office. I just love the colors.
I had enough strips left to make a pillow top.
This was a fun project and I hope I can find time to have more bargello in my future.
Happy Stitchin'
Teresa
Yipee!!! Thank you so Much! (address coming soon) Your quilt looks so pretty -- congratulations on a finish (well, quilted counts, even if the binding isn't done lol.)
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in your bargello quilt too. Congratulations to Anna.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors. Gosh, it must have come together quickly. You do mean "bargello," don't you?
ReplyDeleteWow, Mom!!! It looks GREAT!!! You did that pretty fast!!
ReplyDeleteI love you!!!!!
Very pretty. I have always wanted to make one. I like the quilting too.
ReplyDeleteI have only made one bargello, and it was fun, hoping to make more too, great colours in yours.
ReplyDeletebargello is one of my favorite techniques- it looks complicated and is always beautiful. I love the color combinations that you used in yours.
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Anna
Beautiful bargello quilt. I like your choice of colors.
ReplyDeleteHey Teresa! I'm finally digging out from market. I received my needle threader and I LOVE it -- Thank You So Much!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your bargello project. I did one bargello quilt from Bonnie Hunter's pattern. It was fun and one day I plan to make another one. I gave mine away the day I got it back from the quilter (I do my own now) and somehow I never felt that I got go enjoy it. I like to look at them for a few days at least, lol.
