Life is just too demanding these days and I am going to shut this blog down until after the new year. I have enjoyed reading your blogs and sharing my quilting days and life in general, but for now, there is just not enough hours in the day to do all that is required.
A note about the previous post, which I have deleted. Noah is a real child and my daughter confirmed with the principal at the school that they were in fact collecting cards for him. His family recently requested that no more cards be sent though, as Noah's days were drawing to a close. They expressed their appreciation for all the love and support they had received through the cards, so if you sent one, you can know it was appreciated. So I removed the post and ask that if you forward the information to anyone else that you also let them know.
I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas and hope that I can reconnect through blogging in the new year. I will from time to time check in on your blogs and see what you are up to, but just won't be posting to this one.
Happy stitchin'
Teresa
Teresa, So sad to see you close the blog down. I have enjoyed reading yours, but completely understand. Life can be demanding and we have to prioritize and do what is right for ourselves in the end. Rest assured, you will be missed. But please, stop by once in a while to say hello.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I'm so sorry to hear you're leaving the blogging world. I will miss you, but I totally understand where you are coming from. Some things are more important than others. Be well and feel free to stop by my blog now and then to say "hi." Hugs! :o)
ReplyDeleteHave a good break Teresa -- I KNOW you'll be back. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I won't say goodbye but just....see ya soon. I know you will back sometime 'cause I've never known you to NOT share your love of quilting. Or to not have an opinion on something! LOL And I'll see ya soon 'cause you only live a couple of miles away and work even closer!
ReplyDeleteSee you in 2010 and enjoy the break. Best wishes for Christmas xx
