That is the only way I could ever do machine...on that large a quilt.Almost like a longarm...where the quilt is quilted front to back. Not sure if that makes much sense...you only turn...when going to the next large area...or square...or row. Love it...absolutely love the quilt.Colleen formerly of South Africahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07642449499720643720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6105359280239456038.post-73414444415966286922008-03-05T18:04:00.000-05:002008-03-05T18:04:00.000-05:00Hi Teresa, I wanted to pop over and thank you for ...Hi Teresa, I wanted to pop over and thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment. When I talk about cutting up scraps I'm speaking about laying out the odds and ends and trim aways from backings, rows of blocks, left over parts, etc. Anything bigger than 1.5" I save to use in another scrap quilt. Sometimes the 'leftover' kind of take over and then it's time to whip them into use-able sizes like 2.5" squares, strips of all widths, triangles, etc.
Love you fur baby, what a sweetie. Hugs, Finn
Sorry I'm not of any help about the gold thread or the border quilting.Finnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17677133672404343036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6105359280239456038.post-59044918203286383672008-03-05T17:16:00.000-05:002008-03-05T17:16:00.000-05:00Gosh Teresa, what a dilemma.
