My long awaited September issue of AQ magazine has arrived! My quilt, Circus Stars, is in the magazine and will also be in the November issue as part 2. I was thrilled when they said they wanted to publish the quilt, but just couldn't believe it was real until the magazine arrived in the mail today. I can't stop smiling :)

(did you know in some groups that statement refers to a tattoo?)
Congratulations!! Wow what an achievement :-)
I just read the magazine. Saw your pattern and had to look you up. It's really a beautiful quilt. Way to go!
I'm quilting/sewing newbie! And loving my new hobby! I bought AQ magazine after thumbing thru it at JoAnn's, and coming across your quilt, Circus Stars. I absolutely LOVE this pattern, but I would like to make it larger. I would like to make it Queen or King sized. Is there a place I can get the information for a larger size?
Thanks!
Ginger
Hi Ginger and Julia,
I don't have an email to contact either of you since Julia yours comes through as a no-reply email so I can not respond to the email.
The quilt in the magazine is already a queen size quilt. To make it bigger, you just add blocks to the rows and increase the number of rows.
The picture of the quilt in the magazine is of my original quilt which was 91 x 115. We downsized it for the magazine to 78 x 90 as we did not feel most people would want to make a quilt as big as mine.
To make the 91 x 115, you will need 13 blocks per row and 17 rows. You could increase the fabric requirements by 1/4 yd of each fabric used in the star blocks to allow for the additional blocks.
Hope this helps.
Teresa
