We simply MUST talk! I too have been given a sewing machine for my birthday... back on March 18! And I have been unable to make a decision about which brand to buy! I'm a life-long Bernina user, want a machine with a longer throat for free-motion quilting, and don't want to spend more than $2,500. That leaves few options. Would love to know all the reasons you decided on a Janome. Are you happy with it?
