Dear Jane Blocks; Give-a-Way

I was doing a little cleaning today and came across 25 Dear Jane blocks that I got in a swap several years ago. These are very well made blocks in reproduction fabrics and it just seems a crying shame to leave them in a zip log bag in the bottom of my drawer. So I would like to liberate them to a good home to someone who would like to make a small quilt from them or possibly even use them to start your own Dear Jane Quilt! Three of these are ones I made and the remainder were made by Janiacs all over the USA. I am ashamed to say I have lost the list of who all made the blocks, but I sure would love to see someone do something with them. If you would like to have these blocks, please leave a comment on this blog. I will select a lucky winner on August 15. Tell your friends and lets see how many "Janiacs" I can find out there in blogland.

Good luck!

Please add my name to the drawing for the 30s blocks. I was in a few swaps for 30s DJ blocks. Maybe this will give me enough for a good sized quilt.

Hi there. I am just getting into reading blogs & I found yours. Awesome! I would like to put my name in for winning these blocks. I would use them to start a lap quilt that my guild makes for the local "Kid's with Cancer" group. I think that these would be a very cheerful start.

I have just come upon your Blog and of course with quilting being the common thread here I have bookmarked you. I too started a Dear Jane a couple of years ago and did complete 13 of the blocks. I keep moving that project to the top of my to do stack..funny how that happens. I will finish it because I have seen so many wonderful Dear Janes completed.
